Since the Waterfront Depot Restaurant has come up several times in the past week, I think it’s about time I give it a well-deserved 5 Heart Rating.
On an Oregon coast road trip a couple years ago my daughter and I happened upon this wonderful restaurant in Florence, Oregon. We arrived early just after they opened at 4:00pm so we were able to get a table without a reservation. Apparently this is very unusual.
The ambience, the food, the people, the views, were all worthy of 5 Hearts. I had THE best Cioppino I have ever had, loaded with local seafood and so fresh. It was huge but so good I ate every last bite!
Oh and they have an excellent wine selection.
If you ever have the unique experience of being on the coast of Oregon you definitely want to visit the town of Florence and eat at this restaurant. Maybe you’ll even get lucky and sit at the best table in the place, #4 (see photo). If you do, please report back. I’d love to hear about your experience.
