For a tea drinker, I sure am blogging a lot lately about coffee spots. Austin is dotted with them and seem to be a popular alternative to sitting in a library or working from home, in addition to being great places to socialize. I came to Epoch Coffee on one of their busiest days. It was also one of Austin’s coldest days. according to a patron I chatted with.
Besides a comfortable atmosphere with tables, sofas, and comfy chairs, I like the music they play and especially the baristas. Some of them call out your order with almost a sing-song tone which creates a nice joyful atmosphere. (I’m guessing some of these peeps are musical theater types?)
Anyway, I felt very welcomed and I look forward to going back.
