Conair CompleteCare

More than one of the 5 Heart Rating reviews I’ve done have referenced my mom and the fact that she could repair anything. I lived my first 10 years in a 19th century 3.5-story Victorian built for the niece of Czar Alexander ll. By the time we moved in, it needed a lot of love and attention. Which my parents, especially my mom, gave it. And this was with 8 children in tow. My dad worked two jobs as a plumber and a fireman, so he really didn’t have a lot of time to spend on the house. Not that my mom did either but she made it happen! She removed wallpaper the old fashioned way, painted, repaired, you name it. And she was quite clever when it came to restoring something that someone else might consider trash.

So when I came across this pill remover, of course I thought of Mom. I remember decades ago when she found something similar and was depilling (is that even a word?) everything she could get her hands on, restoring sweaters and other garments to almost new in appearance.

This little gem does the same thing. I’d purchased a beautiful sweater for my daughter that was not inexpensive by any means. So when I saw the condition of the sweater from being worn so much, I started to do some research and came across the Conair CompleteCare and boy did it make a huge difference! The sweater looks brand new again!

The little machine is battery operated and I remove the batteries between uses so that they are not drained. I’m not sure this actually happens, but I did notice the batteries ran out at some point. You can adjust the setting to 3 different levels, depending on the garment. I paid $15 on Amazon. It has over 100k 4.5-star reviews. Mine is turquoise-green as seen here.
