Laugh Boston

We need to laugh more! This may be the understatement of the pandemic. Long story, but I somehow landed on a very funny stand-up comedian, David A. Arnold, and found out that he would be playing just across the bay at Laugh Boston. (I’ve already done a 5 Heart Rating on this hilarious comic!) So though the pandemic was still in full swing, protocol was in place at the venue and we ventured out for our very first event at a public venue since early 2020, like many of you, I’m sure.

I’ve been to more than a handful of comedy houses around the country and Laugh Boston by far, is the most beautiful of them all. It’s situated inside the Westin Hotel and has floor-to-ceiling-windows on one side, giving it a spacious feeling I’ve not experienced at the likes of The Laugh Factory or Zanies. Seating and tables are comfortable and every seat has a good view of the stage. We were very pleasantly seated apart from other patrons and the host didn’t bat an eyelash when we changed our minds about where exactly we wanted to be seated. (An important factor in a comedy club as I’m sure many of you know. Especially if you don’t want to be “picked on” by the entertainment.)

Drinks are reasonably priced and the service is excellent. I hope this establishment is able to keep going and continues to host some top comedians. They’re doing everything right. So if you’re in the Boston area, go laugh and support these comedians and their craft. Get your tix here. And yes, you will need proof of vax: https://laughboston.com

PS If you’re in a city where David A. Arnold is appearing, go! You’re welcome.
