I am not a bit surprised that there are 9,149 Google reviews giving Balboa Park 4.8 stars.
I lived an hour north of Balboa Park for 23 years and only visited once until I moved to San Diego and visited for the second and third time. What an amazing place this is. If you are ever in the San Diego area, this is a must-see. Allow at least an entire day to really get a taste of the place.
Here are some photos from our visits. The featured image of my daughter I think is pretty cool. This was a temporary exhibit which encouraged visitors to write their dreams on this giant dreamcatcher.
If you go, plan a whole day. Walk around. The grounds are beautiful!
